Cables
We carry the following cables for use with our pulsAR Wireless Ethernet Bridges.
Outdoor Cat5 Ethernet and Power cable
These cables connect between the indoor power inserter and the outdoor Wireless Ethernet Bridge. They carry both your Ethernet data and the DC power to the radio. At the radio end they are terminated in a metal cylindrical waterproof connector. The part numbers below show several options for the cable type and jacket. The last three digitis (xxx) specify the length in feet, or, for short cables, specify as "-Axx" with xx as the length in inches. For the standard outdoor cable we typically carry 5, 50, 100, 200 and 300 ft (1.5, 15, 30, 60 and 90 meters).
CBL-0503-xxx: Standard outdoor cable
CBL-0506-xxx: Indoor flexible cable
CBL-0509-xxx: Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) cable, indoor
CBL-0510-xxx: Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) cable, shielded, outdoor
Console Adapter Cable
Used to convert from the three pin cylindrical connector on the pulsAR radio to a DB9 connector. Use it to connect the radio to a terminal over RS-232 as an optional way of configuring the radio on the bench. The part numbers below show several options for the cable
jacket and DB9 gender. The last three digitis (xxx) specify the
length in feet, or, for short cables, specify as "-Axx" with xx as the length in inches.
CBL-0403-xxx: Standard cable, female DB9
CBL-0409-xxx: Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZK) jacket, female DB9
CBL-0410-xxx: Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZK) jacket, male DB9
Audio Antenna Alignment Cable
CBL-0404: This is an adapter used to convert the pulsAR radio three pin cylindrical connector to a standard headphone jack. When aligning a directional antenna you can turn on an audio tone with a pitch that is proportional to the received signal strength. Indispensable to free both hands of your installer who is hanging for dear life at the top of the tower.
N-type Coaxial RF cables
You may need an RF cable to connect between the antenna and the radio. In many deployments you install the radio outdoors very close to the antenna in which case you only need a very short RF cable or no cable at all (some antennas, like our 24 dBi grid antenna, come with a short pigtail that connects directly to the radio). If you mount the radio at some distance from the antenna you will require a longer RF cable, in which case you need to pay attention to the cable losses (use our RF budgetr calculator to compute thoses losses). The part numbers below list the RF coaxial cables we carry. The last three digitis (xxx) specify the
length in feet, or, for short cables, specify as "-Axx" with xx as the length in inches.

CBL-0302-xxx: LMR-195 with N-type male/female connectors
CBL-0303-xxx: LMR-400 with N-type male/male connectors
